Mercantile Pacific is committed to sustainability, ethical practices, and innovation.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Remote Account Manager with proven expertise in selling products/services to banks, insurance companies, telecom providers, software firms, and SaaS, Retailers, Importers. SME, Consumer products Distribution companies. Wholesalers, Online Platforms/ Sellers & Similar organizations. This role focuses on managing corporate accounts across the Americas and Europe (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK, etc.), driving revenue growth through strategic relationship-building, problem-solving, and exceptional negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will excel in end-to-end account management, from onboarding to renewal, while consistently exceeding OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) tied to sales targets.ResponsibilitiesIndustry-Specific Sales & Account GrowthManage and expand corporate accounts in banking, insurance, telecom, software, and SaaS sectors.Develop tailored sales strategies aligned with industry trends.Achieve aggressive quarterly sales targets through upselling, cross-selling, and closing high-value contracts.End-to-End Account ManagementOversee the full client lifecycle: onboarding, implementation, retention, and renewal.Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Support, Legal) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.Problem Solving & NegotiationAddress complex client challenges (e.g., regulatory compliance in banking, integration hurdles for SaaS products).Maintain & demonstrate month on month growth with portfolio accounts & continue to hunting for new leads to add to portfolio.Lead contract negotiations with corporate stakeholders, balancing client needs and company profitability.Relationship BuildingEstablish trust with C-suite executives and decision-makers in multinational corporations.Conduct regular business reviews and deliver data-driven insights to showcase ROI for clients.Cross-Cultural & Time Zone AgilityAdapt work hours to overlap with Americas/European time zones (e.g., 2:00 PM–11:00 PM IST).Leverage cultural awareness to navigate business practices in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc. QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field.5+ years in B2B sales/account management, with proven success in selling to banks, insurers, telecoms, software/SaaS firms etc. as explained above.Track record of exceeding sales targets and OKRs in a corporate, multi-industry environment.Exceptional negotiation skills with experience closing deals worth $500K+ .Problem-solving mindset: Ability to troubleshoot client issues (e.g., SaaS integration bottlenecks, telecom infrastructure challenges).Fluency in English plus one European language(French, German, Italian, Spanish preferred).Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and collaboration platforms (Zoom, Teams).Preferred SkillsMBA or certifications (e.g., ITIL for telecom, CSP for SaaS sales).Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., GDPR in Europe).Experience with enterprise software/SaaS sales cycles and RFPs.Key CompetenciesTarget-Driven: Relentless focus on OKRs and revenue growth.Problem Solver: Turn client challenges into opportunities.Relationship Builder: Cultivate long-term partnerships with corporate decision-makers.Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of banking, insurance, telecom, and SaaS landscapes.Multilingual Skills: Bridge communication gaps in European markets.
