Job Description

At Anakin, we’re seeking an exceptional and accomplished finance professional to join us in our Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to work with the CEO and Senior Management to shape and establish our financial planning, and operations, ensuring the company's long-term financial health and success, while also doing all the day-to-day financial operational tasks. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic financial plans, optimizing operational efficiencies, and driving the growth of the organization.What you will do:Plan and control books of Accounts of the company and ensure they are accurate and compliant with statutory requirements in the USA, Singapore, and IndiaOversee the operations in Account Receivable/Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax-related matters, statutory compliance, etcProvide clear visibility (dashboards, MIS) of yearly, quarterly, and monthly financials standing to various stakeholders like CEOs, Boards, and external agenciesForecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for expense and investmentSupport preparation of the company's annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets at organizational and functional levels. Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variancesManage external stakeholders, partners, and agencies e.g. Payroll partners, Banks, Legal advisors, Statutory offices of the Governments, etcWhat you must have:Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-4 years of experience in similar roles with small-medium sized companies or Technology Start-ups with global reachExpertise in Indian GAAP and working knowledge of global finance practices of the US or Singapore or any other country, region, or geographyStrong ability to deal with ambiguity and problem-solve for aspects that you or the team may encounter the first time or are not familiar with.
