Job Description

The job functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Tests complex modules, features, and bug fixes, with a thorough understanding of the systemand its integrations. Focuses on requirements, delving into advanced intricacies and their implications on regressiontesting of integrated systems. Collaborates effectively with peers, understanding the impact of the team's work within thedepartment. Builds productive relationships across team members and ensures the team's voice is heard incross-functional meetings. Demonstrates expertise in manual software testing techniques, including complex scenarios, andhas a thorough understanding of QA processes. Skilled in defect tracking, test case creation, and execution, facilitating efficient issue resolution. Exhibits strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.Mentors team members and is open to continuous learning. Proficient in Agile methodologies, actively participates in Agile ceremonies, raises risks, andprovides feedback during sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. Possesses a thorough understanding of the industry or domain, including knowledge of projectmodules and system integrations. Mentors team members, resolving their queries related to projects or integrations. Executes automation scripts and is open to acquiring and advancing automation skills. Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process improvements andmapping. Has basic knowledge of performance testing, API testing, and database testing. Engages in the hiring process by conducting interviews and providing feedback. Assists inonboarding new resources through knowledge transfer sessions and query resolution. Proactively shares information across teams and engages in team meetings. Builds collaborative relationships to enhance team productivity. Works with the manager to articulate needs and goals, facilitates problem-solving and workplanning, and resolves conflicts respectfully and timely. Recognizes and positively reinforces team contributions, considers others' schedules andpriorities, and manages timelines effectively. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Represents the team in conversations with others, maintaining good rapport with testers fromother teams and managing integration testing collaboratively. Receives general direction on routine work and detailed direction on new assignments. Raises concerns during daily stand-up meetings.SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCETechnical Skills Manual & Regression Testing: Expertise in testing complex modules and integrated systems,with a focus on regression testing and identifying system interdependencies. Defect Tracking & Test Management: Skilled in defect tracking, test case creation, execution,and issue resolution. Agile Methodologies: Proficient in Agile (Scrum/Kanban), actively participating in sprintplanning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews. Domain & Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of the industry/domain and systemintegrations. Process Improvement: Actively suggests process improvements and follows best QA practices. Performance, API & Database Testing: Basic knowledge of performance testing, API testing(Postman, SoapUI), and SQL for database validation. Automation: Knowledge with executing automation scripts and openness to advancingautomation skills will be a plus. MS CRM Knowledge: Knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 will be a plus.Soft Skills Collaboration: Builds productive relationships across teams and departments, fostering effectiveteamwork. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, clearly conveying technical concepts to allstakeholders. Mentorship: Guides junior team members, offering support and knowledge transfer.
