Merlis Hotels, Coimbatore is hiring a Guest-focused Reservation Manager to oversee and manage our reservations team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth reservation process, optimizing room or service availability, and delivering exceptional guest and client experiences. You'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue, improving booking efficiency, and maintaining high service standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the reservations department to ensure smooth and efficient booking processes.Manage and update room/service inventory across all platforms (PMS, OTA, website, etc.).Monitor reservation trends, forecast demand, and optimize availability to maximize revenue.Ensure all guest inquiries, bookings, and changes are handled promptly and professionally.Train, coach, and supervise reservations staff to maintain high performance and excellent customer service.Collaborate with Sales, Front Office, Revenue, and Marketing teams to support promotions and special offers.Analyze performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.Handle VIP, corporate, and group reservations, ensuring attention to detail and personalization.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field.3+ years of experience in a reservations or front office role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial capacity.Strong knowledge of reservation systems and property management systems (e.g., Opera, SynXis, Amadeus, etc.).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
