Job Overview:Takshaka Interiors Pvt. Ltd., a leader in luxury furniture manufacturing with over 25 years of excellence, seeks a dedicated Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This position is pivotal in ensuring seamless production planning and maintaining the highest quality standards across all manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:1. Production Planning:Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchase, Store, and Design teams to develop comprehensive production programs aligned with sales requirements, optimizing both in-house and external resources.Create detailed activity lists for each product, ensuring timely follow-ups until completion.Oversee production flow across departments, including carpentry, polishing, and upholstery, coordinating with fabricators to ensure prompt component delivery that meets deadlines and quality standards.Produce samples of each item for Director approval before initiating full-scale production.Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) for materials procurement, including fabrics, timber, plywood, veneer, hardware, and stone, and develop corresponding procurement plans.2. Reporting:Monitor progress across teams, addressing and resolving any issues among team members.Identify and report discrepancies between planned and actual progress to the reporting manager and management daily.Provide management with daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports on factory operations.3. Drawings Management:Ensure accurate drawings are shared with the production team to guarantee that furniture matches approved designs from the Sales or Design and Development teams.Prepare 'As Built' working drawings post-completion.Utilize single-file lamination to ensure consistency across departments and incorporate changes into a unified drawing.4. Quality Control:Innovate new processes and methods to enhance productivity and quality standards.Conduct quality control checks on materials such as stone, glass, wood, and veneer sourced for factory use.Continuously seek improvement opportunities through operational examination, discussions with subordinates, and post-mortem analysis of problematic orders.Supervise production quality at various stages, including vendor factories.Verify templates or provide full-scale drawings to workers and vendors.Oversee maintenance and housekeeping of the factory premises.Note: This description outlines the primary responsibilities and is not exhaustive.
