Overview : Senior Content Writer will be a key member of IIAD's Branding and Communications team, responsible for creating compelling content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of the English language, strong writing techniques, and the ability to produce both short-form and long-form content.Personality & must have :This role demands expertise in crafting relevant press releases, writing for social media platforms, and a sound knowledge of SEO practices, including keyword targeting and the pillar-cluster format of article writing for the official blog page. The candidate should be proactive, creative, and capable of handling responsibilities independently. Understanding of Design Education will be a plus.Work Experience2-3 years in Content WritingEducation:Graduate/Postgraduate with Excellent writing and communication skills and impeccable command of English Language.Additional diplomas/certifications in the field of marketing, SEO, content writing, Adobe Photoshop would be considered a plus.Reporting:Senior Manager – Communications Team/ COOJob Description :You are responsible for managing all content writing needs within the branding and communication department. This role involves developing an in-depth content strategy, proofreading, creating blog structures, managing writers and freelance bloggers, and monitoring and reporting on SEO practices and blog performance. The Content Writer plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent and superior-quality content that aligns with the company's brand and communication goals.Roles & Responsibilities :Content Strategy Development:Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that prioritizes delivering superior quality content aligned with the company's branding and communication goals.Conduct thorough research to identify target audience preferences, industry trends, and keyword opportunities.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and design, to ensure content reflects the brand's voice, values, and messaging.Create detailed content calendars and editorial schedules to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality content.Content Creation and Management:Write and edit engaging, persuasive, and superior-quality content for various marketing channels, including the website, blogs, social media, email newsletters, and other communication materials.Implement a rigorous proofreading and editing process to ensure exceptional clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand guidelines.Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather comprehensive information and insights for content creation.Develop meticulously structured blog outlines and guidelines for internal and freelance writers to consistently produce exceptional quality work.Manage and inspire a team of writers and freelance bloggers, providing them with guidance, constructive feedback, and support to consistently achieve superior quality content.Conduct regular content audits to ensure unwavering consistency, outstanding quality, and strict adherence to SEO best practices.SEO Monitoring and Reporting:Stay at the forefront of SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize content for superior search engine rankings and organic traffic.Conduct comprehensive keyword research and implement optimization strategies to enhance content visibility and performance.Monitor and analyze blog performance using advanced analytics tools to track key SEO metrics.Prepare detailed reports highlighting keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, engagement metrics, and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization based on data insights.Software Skills:Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla to publish and manage content.Familiarity with SEO tools and analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or similar software.Knowledge of collaboration tools like Google Drive, Trello, or Asana to coordinate and manage content creation processes.Excellent command of word processing software such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to format and optimize content for online platforms.Experience with social media management tools like Hootsuite or Buffer to schedule and publish content across multiple platforms.Working Conditions :Timings 09.00 am- 06.00 pm (Monday to Friday)10.00 am- 05.00 pm (Saturday), 2 Saturdays off in a month.Remuneration :30k to 45k/month(Negotiable and commensurate with skills and qualifications.)
