Job Title: Database Reliability EngineerWork model: RemoteNotice Period: Immediate to 20 days of noticeExperience: 6+ yearsJob Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain highly reliable, scalable Cassandra database clusters in GCP.Support a wide array of supply chain databases (including SQL and Oracle systems).Troubleshoot issues related to latency, SLO adherence, and performance across NoSQL and SQL databases.Participate in destructive testing, incident response, and root cause analysis.Work closely with architects and engineering teams to support database infrastructure transitions and expansions.Contribute to evolving standards and design patterns for cloud-based NoSQL environments.Collaborate with nearshore/offshore teams for extended coverage and smooth handoffs.Required Skills & Experience:Strong expertise in Cassandra (or related NoSQL technologies; willingness to focus on Cassandra).Hands-on experience with SQL databases (Oracle or similar).Solid understanding of database reliability engineering, including latency troubleshooting, SLOs, and proactive monitoring.Cloud experience — GCP preferred.Ability to communicate complex technical issues and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members and integrate into existing offshore delivery structures.Nice to Have:Experience working in large enterprise supply chain environments.Familiarity with MongoDB, Spanner, or other NoSQL solutions.Prior experience with infrastructure migrations from on-prem to cloud.Experience with large-scale distributed systems and incident response best practices.
