Experienced and dynamic Leader for the role of Technology Leader to lead the Engineering team. This leadership role is critical in driving the development and growth of the Advanced Power Electronics solutions for the e-Mobility space. Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategic Oversight:Supervise the Engineering division, managing a large team professionals specializing in electrical and mechanical systems.Formulate and implement engineering roadmaps to advance motor and eDrive technologies.Product Innovation & Development:Direct the design, prototyping, and enhancement of EV powertrains, including motors, controllers, and drive systems.Foster next-gen product breakthroughs to optimize performance and energy efficiency.RFQ Management & Feasibility Assessment:Work closely with marketing and sales teams to assess RFQs, conduct technical feasibility studies, and drive cost-efficient engineering solutions.Align product design with commercial strategies to ensure market competitiveness.Advanced Engineering & Simulation:Utilize state-of-the-art modeling and simulation methodologies for motor and controller refinement.Leverage tools like JMAG, Speed, and Motor-CAD for electromagnetic and mechanical analysis.Compliance & Quality Assurance:Guarantee adherence to industry safety and certification benchmarks.Lead validation, homologation, and regulatory approval processes for EV powertrain systems.Supplier Engagement & Process Optimization:Support the procurement division in supplier identification and development.Enhance manufacturing workflows to elevate efficiency and quality control.Client Relations & Stakeholder Coordination:Partner with clients to interpret technical specifications, propose solutions, and conduct design validation discussions.Establish synergy with Global associates, the CXO for smooth project execution.Budgeting & Resource Planning:Administer the engineering division's budget, ensuring resource efficiency and timely project milestones.Balance priorities across multiple initiatives to maximize impact.Qualifications & Expertise:B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.20+ years of expertise in electrical, electromechanical engineering, with a track record in leadership.Proficiency in electromagnetic and mechanical design for motors, controllers, and eDrive architectures.Deep understanding of motor configurations (PMSM, BLDC) and control algorithms.Extensive background in EV powertrain testing, validation, and regulatory certification.Strong acumen in supplier engagement, process streamlining, and manufacturing refinement.Ability to translate technological innovations into business growth strategies.
