We are looking for:MBA /MBE/ MSW/ MA – Economics / Social Sciences/Other disciplines4-8 years’ work experience in social sector/skill councilPrior experience of working in Skill Development/Education sector (preferred)Competencies:Comprehensive understanding of Skill Development landscape (policy, schemes, regulatory, etc.)Ability to interface with stakeholders at mid/ senior level (govt, regulatory, industry leaders, etc.)Primary and Secondary research,Managing events/delegations/ conferencesAnalysis & Report writingProject ManagementExcellent presentation skills and MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom)Principal Accountabilities:Thought Leadership/Policy Advocacy work in Skill Development Work with the Skill Development Committee leadership /Team leader in identifying important areas/topics for thought leadership papers, reports, articles, etc.Be proactive and involved in working together with the team on important govt notificationDevelop strong relationships with Industry leaders/ multilateral/bilateral organizations and other important stakeholders in the Skill Development sectorFICCI Skill Development Committee & Taskforces (TF)Conduct periodic committee meetings under the guidance of Team Leader (prepare minutes, etc).Work with the identified Task Forces (TFs) and do back-end research for developing papersThe Task Force work would include report writing, project implementation, surveys, and research; events/webinars/masterclasses; program development and implementationWork towards mobilizing new members and manage the membership engagement/activitiesFICCI Global Skills SummitPrepare draft agenda/topics/sessions/letters in consultation with Team LeaderSupport team leader for the identification of speakersDraft talking points for Senior Industry Leaders/Government officersManage masterclasses/workshops and focused closed-door interactions between industry and academic leaders.Develop brochure, Souvenirs, and other promotional materials for the SummitWork towards mobilization of delegates and strive to generate revenue. Explore potential partners that could be approved for SponsorshipCoordination with speakers and delegate mobilization; developing post show report under the guidance of team LeaderProjectsOrganize various capacity building programs/Traditional Cluster Development program for rural artisansEngage with UNDP, ILO, Un Women, and other global agencies and explore joint projectsIdentify and explore projects of mutual interest with Central govt agencies/ state governmentsWebinars/Workshops/Masterclasses/DelegationsIdeate and execute masterclasses, workshops, webinars on important/relevant topic. Coordinate with Committee leadership and government officials in some of the identified/select onesExplore partnerships with external partners and generate revenue for the organization.Reports/ RecommendationsWork with the Knowledge Partner in providing information through secondary research (wherever required) for the annual FICCI Knowledge report released during the FICCI Global Skills Summit every yearUnder the guidance of Team leader, work with the Key committee members/task forces group extend support through secondary research in putting together position papers/reports on identified areas.
