This position is with one of our clients in India, who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.Title: SAP CPI - Integration ArchitectLocation: PAN India - HybridEmployment Type: Full-time PermanentRole:As an Integration Architect, you will play a leading role in shaping and evolving the integration landscape of the organisation. You will be responsible for defining and maintaining the enterprise-wide integration architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, promotes efficiency, and supports our digital transformation journey. This involves setting the strategic direction for integration, defining standards and patterns, and driving the adoption of modern integration practices. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that integration solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.Responsibilities:Keep our Integration Strategy relevant and up to date based on our business needs, industry trends and the ever-changing integration domain.Provide architectural vision within the integration domain that is aligned with the overall architectural vision for the organisation.Define and communicate the architectural roadmap for integration, ensuring business needs are met and investments are optimized.Provide strategic technical direction across various teams and portfolios to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business, and security architectures for the Integration scope.Validate our As-Is Architecture for Systems and Data Integration, define our Target State Architecture, and develop a Technology Roadmap to achieve it.Define integration patterns, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency, reusability, and maintainability of integration solutions.Collaborate with Product and Platform Teams to secure appropriate investment for technology changes and ensure initiatives are scoped effectively to reach the target state.Work with Solution Architects to promote code and design pattern reuse, ensuring efficient implementation of technology and new business functionality.Provide guidance and support to development teams on integration technologies and best practices.Promote Modern Technical and DevOps Practices to improve the delivery and operation of integration solutions.Work with business owners, product managers, and product teams to understand strategic objectives and IT priorities, influencing IT portfolio investment priorities and the portfolio roadmap.Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to articulate the integration architecture and its benefits.Continuously improve and support the processes used to deliver integration solutions that meet our business objectives.Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies, trends, and best practices.Technical Skills and Experience:Demonstrable experience in defining and maintaining an enterprise-wide view of integration architecture, including as-is architecture, target state architecture, and architecture roadmaps.Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices (e.g., EAI, ESB, API-led integration, event-driven architecture).Proven experience with integration technologies, including:SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)Solace PubSub+SAP Event MeshExperience with API design and management.Knowledge of event-driven architecture principles and implementation.Experience with cloud integration patterns and technologies.Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and its integration capabilities.Experience with data integration concepts and technologies.Understanding of security best practices for integration.DevOps practices and tools related to integration (e.g., CI/CD).Qualifications:Relevant qualifications and certifications in Integration Architecture.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Desirable:Experience in the energy or utilities sector.
