SAFETY MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Location: - BangaloreROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo list scope of work and to prepare the safety plan required for siteTo prepare the list for welfare facilities in labor camps for sub vendorTo identify the project specific risk and mitigation plan to be providedSite logistics to be prepared with respect to safety requirementMonitor and review contractors safety manual and performance with respect to non-compliance, penalties, stop work noticesTo prepare inspection and work methodologiesTo have organize tool box meetings and implement safety plans as proposedSafety audits to be done and reports to be generatedSafety plans to be discussed with PM on day to day basisMeeting with all stakeholders to happen on site before start of any new activityHousekeeping to be scheduled/monitored on site regularlyWork permit to be issued to all elements with respect to safetySafety with respect to hazardous material / H&S equipment’s/ Awareness programsReporting of accidents with respect to electrical/site/ NMIES/ water/ working at nights to be monitored for no accidents reportsFirst aid management and maintains to be supervisedWeekly and monthly safety report to be renewed and submitted to clientSecurity/safety notices/first aid box/ PPE to be monitored and notice/mock up to developmentTo be aware of root cause analysis of the safety lapses and o be addressed immediatelyExperience required for the role: Minimum 7 Years’ experience in Residential, Commercial and High Rise Building project is must.Bachelors in Civil engineering and Diploma in Safety from a reputed institutionMust be experienced Microsoft Office Package (Words, Excel and PPT), with good written and spoken English skills.
