Assistant Marketing Manager – MarcomJob Summary:One of India’s largest retail platforms is seeking an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Marcom to lead strategic marketing, branding, and event initiatives for its mall operations. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in Event Management, Media, or B2C Retail, with expertise in driving footfall, catchment engagement, and campaign execution. An MBA in Marketing is required.About the Organization:Our client is a pioneer in India’s retail space, with a portfolio of 10+ million sq. ft. of Grade A retail properties across 20+ malls in 10+ cities. Since 2014, they have redefined shopping experiences by blending entertainment, lifestyle, and brand engagement.Location: JP Nagar, BengaluruKey Responsibilities:1. Strategic Marketing & Campaigns Ideate and execute the mall’s annual marketing plan, including events, promotions, and thematic campaigns to boost footfall and tenant sales.Develop competition-responsive strategies with unique value propositions.Conduct market research to analyze customer behavior, preferences, and shopping trends.2. Catchment Engagement & Branding Design Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for primary/secondary/tertiary catchment areas.Oversee in-mall branding, collaterals, and communication (digital/print) to maximize campaign reach.Manage PR campaigns, media planning, and vendor/agency coordination (creative, social media, events).3. Budgeting & Financial Control Monitor Marcom budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and adherence to approved limits.Negotiate with vendors/agencies to benchmark and reduce costs.4. Event Management Plan and execute promotions, festivals, and thematic events to enhance shopper engagement.Post-event analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.5.
