Working across Cyber/IT and Business organizations they research data governance Standards and Policies, communicate requirements, and ensure we have fit for purpose compliance monitoring.This position requires a strong individual with sound knowledge of business processes, a thorough knowledge of data security technologies and data management. The Cyber Data Governance manager will need to work with the Cyber, IT & Digital Organizations also in partnership with corporate stakeholders to help develop and drive the cyber data governance program and to integrate risk prevention and mitigation transparently into the business. This position offers an opportunity to make a strong impact across a company committed to its employees and customers.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding Cyber Data Goverance framework to drive & support Cyber Security Data Protection program across the company.Developing the Data Classification framework and POC Qualification Process for potential eventual integration into DLO in phased mannerDevelop and implement policies and procedures to include data classification frameworks into SLB New Product Development processJointly own, and mature the Data Security Protection & Data Governance Standards[AM1] [ST2] with Data & Analytics organizationEvaluate Data Security classification/inventory tooling, deploy & manage.Provide input into key Cyber data protection programs such as Insider Threat and Data Loss Prevention programsEnsure Cyber Data Risks are correctly articulated and managed in IRMWork closely with Data & Analytics organization to ensure holistic Data Governance is developed across the companyConduct training and awareness around data classification framework and tools for broader adoption within the development community. Act as an SME on data classification and associated tooling for the company.QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university in the area of engineering, computer science or computer information systems is strongly preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.Experience: 9+ years' experience in the industry. Minimum of five years of experience within the following areas of integrating security into the business, security risk management, information processes, product security, business architecture positions. Working knowledge and experience in systems administration and solutions developmentAdditional: Applicant must have a valid work permit.Professional security management certification, such as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or other similar credentials would be a strong plusGeneral Requirements:Authored technical documentation such as architectures, process diagrams, procedures, policies, verification and validation documentation and integration diagrams. Experience in preparing management summary presentations Must be a critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills. Strong Analytical skills Ability to work at level from initial concept to operational implementation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate security related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences. Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT and ones from NIST would be a plus Familiarity with industry standard security tools.Familiarity or experience with Data governance tools like Alation or CASB tools will be a plusFamiliarity and adherence to change management policies and procedures.
