Roles and Responsibility Responsibility of material qualification for NCM battery with high safety and high reliability for various form factor cells, cylindrical, prismatic, pouch cell to meet customer requirement and deliver to mass production phase in giga factory.Battery material test with coin cell and pouch cell.Make plan and test preparation in test laboratory.Keep all equipment and work areas clean and free of debris.Ensure the safety, quality, and efficiencies of the installation crew.Perform and monitor tests in the lab or field.Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.Data collection and analyse results.New material development support for new developed battery.Chemical and electrochemical analysisMandatory Skills Bachelor’s degree in material science, chemistry, electrochemistry, or related field.Proficiency in Foundational knowledge of NMC and LFP cell technologiesDeveloping coin cells and pouch cells basis inputs from material development scientistsTesting techniques & material characterizationknowledge in lithium-ion battery materials, electrode manufacturing processKnowledge in chemical poisonous and hazardous substancesExcellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.Comfortable to advocate and problem solve when needed.A critical thinker with a positive attitude.Desired Skills Understanding of materials choice (cathode, anode, binders, conductive additives) on electrode designUnderstanding lithium-ion cell electrochemical mechanismExperience in LIB high volume manufacturing (slurry, coating, assembly types (stacking, winding), electrolyte filling and wetting, formation)In-depth knowledge in cell specification, cell validation, analysing performance, failure mode analysis, safety test and regulation certificate.DFMEA, Six Sigma, QC tools, DOE planning, problem solving skills.Note:1.
