Job Title: Assistant manager - Business Development , Ready Furniture Job Summary:We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager – Furniture Category to join our e-commerce team. This role involves driving category growth, managing vendor relationships, and developing strategies to enhance sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the ecommerce sales, strong negotiation skills, and experience in e-commerce . Key Responsibilities:Category Management & GrowthDevelop and execute business strategies to grow the furniture category in terms of sales and assortmentAnalyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.Work closely with marketing agency to plan promotions and campaigns to boost conversions.Vendor & Supplier ManagementRelationship management with marketplaces.Sales and inventory planning with partnersBuild and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure smooth operations and long-term collaboration.Sales & Performance OptimizationMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, conversion rates, return rates, and profit margins.Work closely with operations, supply chain, and logistics teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and fulfillment efficiency.Utilize data analytics to make informed business decisions and improve category performance.Cross-functional CollaborationCollaborate with digital marketing teams to drive traffic and engagement through SEO, paid ads, and content marketing.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred).2-4 years of experience in category management, business development, or vendor management in an e-commerce setting.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and business intelligence tools.Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
