Job Description

We are looking for a Trade Surveillance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing trading activities to detect and prevent market abuse, fraud, and other regulatory violations. You will work closely with compliance officers, traders, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies. Your expertise in trade surveillance tools and regulatory frameworks will be essential in identifying suspicious activities and mitigating risks. As a Trade Surveillance Specialist, you will conduct real-time and post-trade surveillance using advanced monitoring systems. You will analyze trading patterns, investigate alerts, and escalate potential violations to the appropriate teams. Your role will also involve developing and enhancing surveillance models to improve detection capabilities. Additionally, you will assist in regulatory reporting and provide insights to senior management on emerging risks and trends in the financial markets. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of financial markets, trading practices, and regulatory requirements. Experience with trade surveillance systems SMARTS is mandatory. You should also possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be required to collaborate with various stakeholders and present findings effectively.
