Key Responsibilities:Lead the development, writing, and maintenance of comprehensive business operations policies and procedures, including desktop-level procedures, with a focus on Healthcare Payer operations.Collaborate with business units, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather information and ensure documentation accuracy.Create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that meets organizational standards and regulatory requirements.Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in business processes, technology, and regulations specific to Healthcare Payer operations.Ensure consistency and standardization of documentation across all business units.Utilize various tools and software to create and manage documentation, including word processors, content management systems, and graphic design tools.Conduct regular reviews and audits of documentation to ensure ongoing accuracy and relevance.Provide training and support to staff on the use and interpretation of policies and procedures.Mentor and guide junior technical writers, providing support and knowledge sharing.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation, particularly in the Healthcare Payer sector.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on business operations policies and procedures.Significant experience in the Healthcare Payer industry, including knowledge of claims processing, member enrollment, and provider management.Strong understanding of business operations and business process documentation.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity.Experience in mentoring and leading junior team members is a plus.
