This role will involve overseeing the calibration development lifecycle for various projects, ensuring alignment with company standards, and coordinating with internal teams and OEMs.Responsibilities include:Define and maintain application project plans for assigned programs.Proactively manage project plan changes during development phases.Apply standard calibration methodologies, tools, and procedures.Collaborate with Application and Functional Design teams to deliver optimized solutions.Ensure workflow compliance with calibration process standards.Encourage the use of data analytics to validate performance and diagnostics.Act as a technical reference point for all calibration-related matters.Support on-site customer calibration activities when needed.Confirm calibration through label review with OEMs.Coordinate test vehicle activities per project requirements.Participate in calibration design reviews and risk assessments Investigate and resolve fleet or market issues related to calibration.Desired SkillsEducation: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electronics EngineeringExperience: 5–10 years as an Application EngineerStrong background in base calibration (engine testbench)Hands-on experience with emissions, drivability, and OBD calibrationExperience as an Application Project Leader or Calibration Dataset Manager is a plusTechnical Knowledge:Deep understanding of complete engine control systemsOBD2 system calibration and regulatory knowledge
