We are hiring partners for RoamCompany: RoamMode of Work: Remote (preferably India, US hours, flexible)Compensation: Competitive Salary (up to $24,000 with bonus) + Equity PotentialAbout Roam - Roam is a marketplace for international student services. We simplify the process of relocating to a new country by providing essential resources and services, saving students months of stress and tens of thousands of dollars. Qualifications:Must be from a Tier-1 college (e.g. IIT's, NIT's, IIIT's) and hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).What you’ll doShip full-stack features end-to-end: from frontend components to backend logic to database models.Collaborate closely with product, design, and the CTO to solve real user pain points.Build scalable and maintainable systems using modern engineering practices.Improve internal tooling and integrations with third-party services.Contribute to and improve our CI/CD and deployment pipelines.Help drive architectural decisions as we grow and take on new verticals.What We’re Looking For2–4 years experience in full-stack or backend-focused roles.Strong fluency in: -TypeScript -Next.js (React) -TailwindCSS -API development (REST/GraphQL) -PostgreSQL -AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)Proficient familiarity with: -CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) -Bash scripting - Python scripting for automation or data tasksStrong understanding of web performance, security, and code quality.Motivated by ownership, autonomy, and fast-paced environments.Strong coding portfolio (GitHub/GitLab) or links to products you’ve built.Passionate about socially impactful work that helps thousands of people.Bonus PointsExperience building B2C or D2C productsExperience working with marketplaces or product-led growth tools.Detail-oriented — optimizing loading speed, ensuring smooth interactions, and building user trust.
