That's where you come in!Position OverviewThe Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for providing for support managed infrastructure (maintaining, patching, monitoring, security), resolving escalated application support tickets, and providing professional services to our clients in the form of upgrades, server migrations, and new client deployments. A Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer will deliver our services with the highest possible quality, professionalism, and client satisfaction.Key CompetenciesInfrastructure Administration & Monitoring – Manage hosted environments, including patching, server upgrades, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring to ensure system reliability and performance. • Technical Implementation & Troubleshooting – Execute client server migrations, deploy new environments, resolve escalated support issues, and assist with application implementations, including SSO.Process Compliance & Continuous Improvement – Adhere to change management frameworks, maintain technical documentation, and identify opportunities for system and process enhancements.Benefits100% Remote.Working with international teams in a remote environment.End of year complimentary time off. It's pretty rare for us to work on weekends/holidays.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for managing and maintaining hosted infrastructure including but not limited to security, patch management, server management, and upgrades.Monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts and notifications.Adherence to INX Change Management FrameworkUndertake client server migrations and upgradesDeploy new client environments and assist with technical aspects of application implementations, including SSO.Responsibility for availability and capacity management.Management and resolution of escalated support tickets within defined OLA and SLA requirements.Responsible for the creation and maintenance of team knowledge, processes, procedures, and operational documentation.Build strong relationships with our clients, team, and internal stakeholders.Identify and make recommendations on areas of improvement and participate in continual improvement initiatives.Proactively escalate and raise issues, concerning INX products, with the product teams.Adherence to INX policies and procedures.Participation in an on-call roster.Experience3+ years of industry experience as a technical engineer or systems administrator, or similar.Strong troubleshooting skills.Aptitude to learn new skills quickly.Working knowledge & skills in Windows Server, MS SQL Server, and IIS.Working knowledge of AWS services.Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.Demonstrated experience in networking and infrastructure including firewalls, virtualisation, and DNS.Ability to interpret and write scripts, preferably PowerShell.Experience with Microsoft Azure – desirable.Experience with Octopus Deploy – desirable.INX product knowledge – desirable.Our approach to Flexible WorkingAt stackway, we value and respect differences.
