In this role, you will be at the forefront of product innovation, collaborating closely with our engineering and cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and realize exceptional smart furniture solutions that blend functionality, style, and user satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesInnovative Design & Aesthetics: Conceptualize and design visually compelling, user-friendly smart furniture products that align with customer needs and preferences.Customer-Centric Approach: Conduct customer analysis to understand market trends, behavior, and desires, incorporating insights into innovative designs.Problem-Solving & Design Thinking: Anticipate potential design and functional failures, proposing robust solutions for seamless product performance.Rendering & Prototyping: Create high-quality renderings, models, and prototypes to bring concepts to life and communicate ideas effectively.Product Realization & Collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to ensure smooth product development, manufacturability, and feasibility (DFM).Mood Boards & Visual Presentation: Develop mood boards and visual storytelling materials that capture the essence of concepts and inspire stakeholders.Iterative Development: Engage in iterative design processes, gathering and implementing feedback to refine and optimize designs.Qualifications & SkillsEducational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.Design Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing innovative furniture designs and problem-solving abilities.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD) and rendering tools (e.g., KeyShot).Prototyping Skills: Hands-on experience with prototyping tools and processes.Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with engineering, marketing, and production teams.Customer Insight: Strong ability to analyze customer needs and market trends.Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to aesthetics, functionality, and practicality.
