Job Title: AI Engineer - Construction ManagementLocation: India, RemoteWork hours: Eastern Standard Time Zone About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled BIM & AI Engineer with a strong foundation in Building Technology & Construction Management in Civil Engineering, and hands-on expertise in BIM tools, clash detection, Python, and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will contribute to advanced digital construction initiatives tailored to the construction industry, leveraging data-driven workflows, automation, and AI to drive efficiency and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesBuilding Information Modelling (BIM):Develop and manage BIM models using Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.Perform comprehensive clash detection and coordinate with design and engineering teams to resolve conflicts.Maintain model accuracy and ensure alignment with project specifications and local US codes.Utilize 4D/5D simulation and construction sequencing for project planning and coordination.Automation & AI:Develop Python scripts for BIM automation, data extraction, and workflow optimization.Apply Artificial Intelligence techniques to construction datasets for insights into planning, safety, cost forecasting, and risk mitigation.Explore and prototype GenAI-based tools for construction applications such as intelligent model querying, automated drawing generation, and predictive analytics.Eligibility & RequirementsMaster’s in building technology & construction management or bachelor’s in civil engineering with relevant BIM experience.Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM workflows, model coordination, and clash detection.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.Advanced skills in Python; ability to develop scripts for automation and data tasks.Strong grounding in Machine Learning and its applications in the AEC industry.Familiarity with California/New York construction codes and practices is highly desirable.Hands-on Experience in Generative AI is a plus.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
