We are seeking an Intern Data Scientist (Gen AI) who is excited about machine learning, particularly generative AI, and eager to apply cutting-edge research to real-world challenges.Key Responsibilities:Advanced AI Modeling - Assist in designing, developing, and deploying sophisticated machine learning models and algorithms to address complex business problems.Generative AI Expertise - Leverage your understanding of generative AI to fine-tune models, contribute to synthetic data creation and data augmentation, and engineer GenAI agents using both commercial and open-source large language models (LLMs).Collaborative Solution Development - Engage with domain experts, software engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI solutions.Data Analysis & Preprocessing - Conduct exploratory data analysis, perform data preprocessing, and execute feature engineering to ensure high-quality data inputs for modeling.Innovative Research - Stay current with the latest AI research, testing emerging methods and integrating new insights into your ongoing projects.Clear Communication - Present findings, insights, and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences using visualizations and presentations.Infrastructure & Best Practices - Contribute to creating and maintaining a robust machine learning infrastructure while adhering to industry best practices.Team you will work withData Science - Collaborate with experienced data scientists and machine learning engineers who will guide you through end-to-end model development.Software Engineering - Coordinate with engineers to integrate models into applications, ensuring seamless deployment and performance.Product & Domain Experts - Engage in cross-functional discussions to ensure models are built around real user needs and business objectives.What you will work onML/AI Projects - Involve yourself in key data science projects focused on generative AI, synthetic data, and large language model integrations.Research & Experimentation - Stay on the forefront of AI techniques, experimenting with new algorithms and architectures.Data Pipelines - Help build and refine data pipelines and feature engineering processes for improved model performance.Qualifications:AI Enthusiast - Have a foundational grasp of AI and ML concepts and a strong interest in generative AI.Proficient in Data Science Tools - Experience or coursework in data science, machine learning, or a related field; familiarity with Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is a plus.Team Player - Capable of working collaboratively, sharing insights, and communicating effectively with diverse teams.Analytical & Detail-Oriented - Possess strong problem-solving abilities, an investigative mindset, and meticulous attention to detail.Self-Driven - Eager to learn, experiment, and contribute to cutting-edge AI projects.Duration: 6 Months Stipend: 15,000- 30,000 per month depending upon knowledgeHow to Apply:If you’re excited to dive into the world of generative AI and collaborate on groundbreaking projects, we’d love to hear from you!Please send the following to support[at]protoboost.ai (with the subject line “Intern Data Scientist – Gen AI Application”):Your updated resumeLinks to any relevant projects or GitHub repositories (this will serve as part of the selection criteria)A brief note on why you’re the right fit for our Intern Data Scientist – Gen AI positionWe look forward to exploring how your passion for AI can shape the future at ProtoBoost.ai!
