Job Description

We are seeking accomplished academics for the role of Associate Professor of Management to join our dynamic faculty team. This senior academic position involves teaching across management specializations, conducting high-quality research, and contributing to the strategic development of the School of Business. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing our academic reputation, mentoring junior faculty, and strengthening our connections with the business community. Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses across management specializations (may include Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, or other relevant areas) Supervise Master's and potentially PhD dissertations and research projects Employ innovative teaching methodologies that engage students and enhance learning outcomes Provide academic mentorship to students and support their professional development Participate in curriculum development and program review processes Contribute to teaching quality assurance processes and continuous improvement initiatives Research and Scholarship Maintain an active research agenda resulting in publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals Secure external research funding through grants and industry collaborations Present research at national and international conferences Engage in collaborative research projects with colleagues within and outside the university Contribute to the intellectual life of the university through seminars, workshops, and research discussions Mentor junior faculty and research scholars in their research endeavors Academic Leadership and Administration Participate in departmental and university committees Contribute to strategic planning and implementation at the department and school level Mentor junior faculty members in teaching and research Assist in faculty recruitment and development activities Contribute to accreditation processes and quality enhancement initiatives Participate in academic administration as required by the department chair or dean External Engagement Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners and other external stakeholders Represent the university at external events and in professional organizations Contribute to executive education programs and consultancy projects Participate in activities to enhance the reputation and visibility of the School of Business Support student recruitment, placement, and alumni engagement initiatives Qualifications Essential PhD in Management or a closely related field from an accredited institution Minimum of 7 years of teaching experience at the university level, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Professor level or equivalent Strong record of research publications in peer-reviewed journals of international standing Demonstrated excellence in teaching across undergraduate and graduate programs Experience in curriculum development and program assessment Ability to teach across multiple management specializations Evidence of successful student mentorship and supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to collaborative and interdisciplinary approaches to education and research
