Job Summary The Lead - HR Business Partner will be responsible for building up HRBP capability in the organization and will be supported by 2 HRBPs. The incumbent will work closely with the delivery/functional leaders in crafting people strategy and talent plans to deliver Business goals. They are responsible for the overall execution of talent strategy for the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a multifaceted & changing environment and provide HR expertise on organizational capability to realize present/future strategies and plans. This role directly reports to the CHRO. 1. Talent Strategy & Planning Own and drive end-to-end talent strategy across business units. Identify critical roles and build robust succession pipelines with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. 2. Business Alignment Partner with business leaders to align HR interventions with key business drivers and P&L objectives. Influence talent decisions that contribute directly to business outcomes and growth metrics. 3. Manager Development & Coaching Act as a strategic advisor and coach to managers, enabling them to build high-performing teams. Support performance management, identify high-potential talent, and facilitate leadership development plans. 4. Employee Engagement & Experience Leverage data and analytics to monitor engagement trends, pinpoint areas of improvement, and develop action plans. Lead engagement initiatives that elevate employee experience and reinforce a culture of continuous feedback. 5. Organizational Change & Transformation Drive people-related aspects of organizational transformation, including restructuring, digital transformation, and change adoption. Support the seamless implementation of change initiatives through communication and capability-building efforts. 6. Culture Building Partner with leadership to assess and reinforce a strong organizational culture aligned with company values. Implement programs that promote desired behaviors and embed core values across the organization. 7. Governance of Key HR Metrics Track and analyze critical HR metrics such as attrition, retention, and internal mobility. Develop strategies to improve talent retention and strengthen the employer value proposition. 8. HR Process Enablement Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to deploy HR programs effectively (e.g., performance management, learning & development, employee lifecycle processes). Qualifications MBA or master’s degree in human resources or a related discipline. 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a strategic HRBP role. Demonstrated experience in leading transformational HR projects and initiatives. Strong understanding of talent management, organization design, and change management practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across South India. Preferred Skills Proven experience in building HR systems and frameworks from scratch. Industry background in FMCG, FMCD, Building Materials, Telecom or Manufacturing sectors with extensive exposure to salesforce engagement preferred. Strong capability in navigating ambiguity and leading cross-functional teams through influence.
