The CEO of an Atal Incubation Centre (AIC) is responsible for leading and directing the AIC to achieve its objectives, developing and implementing its strategy, and building strategic relationships with stakeholders, while also overseeing day-to-day operations and fostering a culture of innovation. Break-down of the duties and responsibilities are as follows: Leadership and Strategies Provide leadership and direction: The CEO sets the vision and direction for the AIC, ensuring it aligns with the goals of the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) Develop and implement strategy: The CEO develops and implements the strategic plan for the AIC, including its programs, activities, and resource allocation. Stakeholder engagement: The CEO builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, mentors, and industry partners. Promote a culture of innovation: The CEO fosters a culture that encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and commercialization of ideas within the AIC. Operations and Management: Day-to-day operations: The CEO is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the AIC, including managing resources, staff, and facilities. Attracting and managing funds: The CEO is responsible for attracting funding through grants, investments, and other means, and for managing the AIC's finances effectively. Compliance: The CEO ensures that the AIC complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Mentoring and Support: The CEO works with startups, innovators, researchers, and mentors to help them develop and commercialize their ideas. Networking: The CEO develops and maintains a network of local and regional healthcare institutions, such as hospitals, medical colleges, pharma companies, reagent suppliers, and allied organizations. Project Administration and Coordination: The CEO is responsible for general project administration and coordination as required. Develop a mentor network: The CEO is responsible to develop the mentor network (Technical, financial and marketing) for the Incubator and work with them to make the Incubated venture successful. Strategic Decisions: The CEO makes strategic decisions to steer the AIC towards becoming a world-class center for nurturing startups. Requirement 15-20 years of experience in innovation / start up environment A strong background in startups, innovation or entrepreneurship, with experience in administration, incubation, or technology deployment, along with a relevant degree (PhD, Master's, or equivalent).
