We are committed to excellence in workforce management and are seeking a dynamic Payroll Head to lead our payroll operations and drive automation and efficiency across systems. Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for ~2100 employees, including company employees, contract workers, and piece-rate contractors. Ensure timely and accurate monthly payroll processing (1st–31st cycle) through Darwinbox. Maintain and update payroll data, salary structures, and statutory deductions. Ensure full compliance with all statutory requirements—PF, ESI, Gratuity, TDS, and Bonus. Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance documentation related to payroll. Lead the successful implementation and optimization of Darwinbox payroll modules. Streamline manual payroll activities, and work toward automating key processes for efficiency and timely disbursement. Support employees through Darwinbox’s self-service portal and handle any payroll-related queries. Maintain payroll confidentiality and data integrity at all times. Prepare and present payroll-related insights, reports, and compliance updates to senior leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR (MBA/MSW – Preferable) Minimum 8–10 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a large-scale manufacturing or engineering firm. Strong working knowledge of payroll systems (Preferable – Darwin Box). In-depth understanding of Indian statutory payroll laws and practices. Proven experience in driving process automation and managing system implementations. Excellent organizational and communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
