Job Summary As an IoT & Embedded Systems Engineer- Intern , you will work closely with our engineering team & Lead IoT Engineer and Architect to design, develop, and test embedded software and hardware for IoT applications . You will gain hands-on experience with microcontrollers, sensors, communication protocols, and cloud integration while contributing to real-world projects. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and debugging embedded firmware for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi ). Work with IoT platforms (Azure IoT, MQTT) to enable device connectivity. Develop and test sensor interfacing, wireless communication (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), and low-power designs. Participate in PCB design, schematic review, and hardware prototyping. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded systems with cloud services. Document design processes, test cases, and troubleshooting guides. Stay updated with emerging trends in embedded systems and IoT technologies. Qualifications & Skills Graduated or in the Final Year of a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field . Basic understanding of Python, embedded C/C++ programming, and microcontroller architectures. Familiarity with RTOS and embedded Linux is a plus. Exposure to communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, EEPROM, TCP/IP). Experience with IoT development tools (Arduino, PlatformIO, ESP-IDF, STM32CubeIDE, Thonny). Knowledge of Python for scripting and automation is beneficial. Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters). Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn. With a proactive and can-do attitude, you enjoy the fast-paced startup environment. Passion for AgTech, sustainability, and robotics-driven innovation. Preferred Skills (Bonus) Experience with edge computing and machine learning on embedded devices (TinyML) . Knowledge of security protocols for IoT devices (TLS, encryption, secure boot). Familiarity with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, Eagle).
