Job Title: Senior Director – Hospital Operations Location: Perinthalmanna, Malappuram District, Kerala Reporting To: Chairman Industry: Healthcare / Super Speciality Hospital Position Type: Full-Time | Senior LeadershipAbout the RoleA leading 800+ bed Super Speciality Hospital in Malabar has entrusted Canary Digital to source a highly experienced and visionary Hospital Management Consultant to lead its operations as Senior Director, reporting directly to the Chairman. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and dynamic leader with deep expertise in hospital operations, clinical integration, and patient-centered care in large-scale tertiary care settings.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational Leadership Lead and manage the hospital’s comprehensive operations across medical, clinical, and administrative departments.Collaborate with the Chairman and Board of Directors to drive institutional vision, strategic initiatives, and long-term goals.Formulate and implement policies, SOPs, and performance metrics that ensure world-class operational efficiency and healthcare delivery.Expand and optimize service lines and clinical departments to meet growing patient demands.Clinical Excellence & Quality ManagementWork closely with clinical leadership to uphold the highest standards in patient care and clinical protocols.Oversee quality accreditations such as NABH/JCI and ensure continuous compliance with regulatory standards.Champion patient safety, infection control, and evidence-based practices across departments.Monitor and improve hospital quality indicators (clinical outcomes, readmission rates, etc.).Financial Stewardship & Resource OptimizationLead financial planning, budget management, and cost optimization across the hospital’s operations.Identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiencies, and ROI on new initiatives.Drive efficient resource allocation, procurement, and vendor relationship management.Human Capital & Organizational DevelopmentLead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and performance.Oversee recruitment, training, retention, and development of medical, nursing, paramedical, and administrative staff.Implement performance management systems and build strong leadership pipelines within the hospital.Technology Enablement & InnovationOversee implementation and optimization of HIS, EMR, and digital tools to enhance clinical and operational workflows.Lead digital transformation initiatives, including telemedicine, AI integration, and data-driven decision-making.Support research and innovation in clinical services and patient engagement models.Stakeholder & External RelationsServe as the principal operational representative in key government, regulatory, and healthcare forums.Build and nurture strong relationships with consultants, vendors, academic partners, insurance providers, and the local community.Represent the hospital’s brand and mission in media and public platforms.Ideal Candidate ProfileEducational Qualifications:MBBS + MHA (Master of Hospital Administration) or MBA in Healthcare Management from a reputed institution.Certifications in healthcare quality or operations (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Healthcare) are desirable.Experience:18–25+ years of progressive experience in hospital operations, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record in managing operations in 500+ bed super speciality or tertiary care hospitals.Experience with hospital expansion, service diversification, and quality accreditation programs.Core Competencies:Strategic vision and hands-on operational expertise.Leadership and change management in complex healthcare environments.Strong understanding of clinical, financial, and regulatory dynamics of hospital management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and crisis management skills.Technological proficiency and data-driven decision-making mindset.CompensationAttractive compensation package aligned with industry benchmarks.Performance incentives and long-term benefits based on strategic goals.How to ApplyInterested candidates may send their detailed CV along with a cover letter to Canary Digital at .           Confidentiality assured.
