We’re looking for a Senior Associate – ECommerce who is driven, quality-oriented, and highly motivated towards learning new technology. This position allows significant development potential for individual career paths within Altudo. Also, you should be aware of Information Security practices.Core Responsibilities: • Develop and customize e-commerce websites and applications using industry-leading platforms such as OrderCloud, BigCommerce, Shopify, or custom-built solutions. • Implement front-end and back-end functionalities for online stores, including product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout processes, and payment gateways. • Collaborate with project managers and business analysts to understand requirements and participate in planning the execution of the website development roadmap. • Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and security to deliver fast-loading, reliable, and secure online shopping experiences. • Integrate third-party services and APIs for various critical functions including but not limited to shipping, inventory management, CRM (Customer Relationship Management), and marketing automation to streamline and optimize business operations. • Develop and integrate custom apps and third-party applications to extend store functionality. • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve customer issues and inquiries related to e-commerce functionalities. • Optimize headless e-commerce websites for performance, scalability, and security, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience across different channels and devices. • Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in e-commerce development, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our platforms.Requirements • 4+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on B2B and B2C features. • Strong understanding of headless architecture principles and experience implementing headless solutions using Sitecore or any eCommerce platform. • Demonstrated knowledge of BigCommerce APIs, the Stencil framework, REST APIs, GraphQL, and developing custom BigCommerce themes. • Hands-on experience with webhooks for real-time event-driven communication between systems. • Extensive experience in Repository, and n-tier architecture.• Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms and CMS systems. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • In-depth knowledge of Azure Service Bus or similar messaging systems for building scalable and reliable distributed applications. • Experience with BigCommerce Catalyst is a plus. • BigCommerce BigDev Certification is a plus.What’s in it for you? • We are a happy workplace if that matters to you the most. • Be part of a team that works on cutting-edge projects for global clients. • As a Sitecore Developer at Altudo, you'll have the opportunity to shape the digital landscapes of renowned brands and organizations. • We are committed to your professional development.
