Experience: 8–10 YearsLocation: Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad/PuneRole Overview:We are seeking a skilled Delivery Optimization Specialist with 8–10 years of experience to enhance and streamline the delivery of Windows OS changes and configurations within a complex IT environment. This role is critical for ensuring efficient system performance, operational stability, and seamless integration of updates and platform changes.Key Responsibilities:Delivery Optimization:Optimize delivery processes for Windows Operating System updates and configurations.Streamline OS deployment across diverse environments to ensure fast, secure, and scalable rollouts.Reduce network bandwidth usage through efficient content delivery strategies (e.g., Delivery Optimization, Peer Caching, etc.).Configuration Management:Design and implement connected configuration management strategies using tools like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Intune, or Group Policy.Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies by maintaining a consistent configuration across devices.Platform Management:Support platform lifecycle management including patching, upgrading, and feature updates.Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and performance.Evaluate and recommend improvements to platform processes and procedures.Operational Support & Continuous Improvement:Provide day-to-day operational support and troubleshooting for deployment-related issues.Identify areas for automation or enhancement to improve service quality and reduce manual effort.Act as a key escalation point for delivery and platform issues.Maintain documentation and support knowledge transfer.Required Skills & Qualifications:8–10 years of relevant experience in delivery optimization, configuration, and platform management.Strong understanding of Windows OS deployment and servicing strategies.Hands-on experience with MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune, or other endpoint management tools.Expertise in Windows Delivery Optimization, Peer Caching, BranchCache, and related technologies.Familiarity with enterprise-level configuration management and update policies.Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system performance and update delivery issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of ITIL practices is a plus.Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft certifications (e.g., MD-102, MS-101, AZ-104)Experience working in hybrid or cloud-first environments (e.g., Azure AD, Autopilot)Experience with scripting (PowerShell) for automation and reportingUnderstanding of security and compliance considerations in system delivery
