Context of the Role The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue across 16 top General Entertainment Channels in our portfolio by leveraging our In Content Advertising solutions. The candidate will lead relationships with a designated set of key strategic accounts and stakeholders along with prospecting, developing and generating new business in sync with the company’s goals. Position Responsibilities Develop a thorough understanding of the product, its strengths, positioning etc for pitch impact and effectiveness. Develop a thorough understanding of the industries/categories being serviced as well as unique marketing challenges being faced at each client organization. Have a macro view of account clusters, media plans and revenue potential. Network, engage with and build strong relationships at all levels of client and agency organizations to understand business trends with a focus on upcoming campaigns and revenue potential. Build strategies to strengthen relationships within existing clients and to identify new clients. Participate and close negotiations with clients / agencies. Help deliver maximum value on deals by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization (Inventory, Operations) and taking complete ownership of deal execution, client servicing and post evaluations of campaigns. Accurate revenue projections for allocated set of accounts Organizational Relationships (Internal & External) Sales Operations, Research, Inventory and Finance External: All key client and agency stakeholders Must Have’s Prior experience working for a television channel / Radio / Print in the ad sales vertical. Proficiency in MS Excel Knowledge of YUMI / BARC software Clear understanding of the market dynamics at an agency and client level Extremely fluent in communication Qualifications Minimum educational qualification: Graduate Work experience 5-7 years
