Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by qualifying leads, generating sales opportunities, and supporting the sales pipeline. This role will bridge the gap between marketing and sales, ensuring that potential clients are effectively engaged and converted into satisfied customers. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic: Proactively engage with inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, qualify prospects based on predefined criteria, and determine their potential as clients Maintain a deep understanding of the industry, including key market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape, to effectively position our services during initial customer interactions. Provide feedback to the Marketing Manager on market trends and customer needs, contributing to the development of targeted sales strategies and campaigns. 2. Operational: Efficiently manage and track leads through the multiple channels, ensuring that all interactions are logged, follow-ups are scheduled, and leads are moved through the sales pipeline in a timely manner. Initiate outbound sales activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling, to generate new business opportunities and expand our client base. Conduct initial discovery calls with potential clients to understand their needs, present relevant solutions, and qualify them for further engagement by the sales team. Work closely with the Marketing Manager and the sales team to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and provide insights into lead behaviour and feedback from potential clients. Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials as needed to support the sales team in closing deals. 3. People: Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on lead generation efforts, sales strategies, and customer engagement tactics. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and understanding of the CRO/CDMO industry. 4. Financial: Directly contribute to the company's revenue growth by qualifying leads that convert into sales, supporting the achievement of sales targets and quotas. Efficiently manage resources, such as time and tools, to maximize productivity and sales outcomes while minimizing costs. Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with a focus on high-potential leads that align with the company's financial objectives.
