Job Title: Adviser & Counselling Intern (Grow PwD) Duration: 6 Months Location: Hybrid About the Program Grow PwD Centers by Dr. Reddy’s Foundation are designed to empower persons with disabilities (PwDs) through employability training, career counseling, and job placement. We are piloting an innovative project to enhance aspirant (beneficiary) engagement post-placement through targeted workshops and personalized counseling, aimed at improving job retention and long-term career growth. Position Overview We are looking for a Counselling Intern who can co-lead this pilot initiative focused on improving employment outcomes for PwD aspirants. This internship blends creativity, structured communication, and empathy to drive engagement and retention through virtual workshops and personalized counseling support. Key Responsibilities Workshop Design & Implementation Co-create engaging, interactive virtual workshops on themes like emotional regulation, workplace challenges, and decision-making. Lead virtual delivery of workshops across multiple Grow PwD centers. Build rapport with aspirants to foster trust and reinforce the center as a long-term support system. Counseling & Aspirant Support Conduct 13–15 structured virtual counseling calls per day to address job-related challenges and provide guidance. Track aspirant career progress, re-placement needs, and provide one-on-one support for job sustainability. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and workshop outcomes. Share project insights and feedback with the central team for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Psychology; specialization in counseling or PwD support is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; creative thinking; empathy for diverse populations. Tech Skills: Basic proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
