About the Company -Established in 1989, Rollick is today, amongst the largest manufacturers of frozen dessert in Eastern India, with state of the art manufacturing units in Kolkata. It has a fast growing network of over 500 distributors across the region. Rollick’s product range includes a variety of ready to eat cups, sticks, cones, take home tubs and bulk packs. Selling within a price range of Rs 5-50 for a single consumption pack, the aim is to be affordable by all. Today, Rollick is present in 15 states and has plans to soon be available pan India. website : Responsibilities - Raw Material (RM) Quality Control: Material Inspection: Ensure incoming raw materials meet predefined quality standards before use in production. Supplier Coordination: Work closely with procurement to address any raw material quality issues and ensure consistency. Documentation: Maintain records of raw material inspections and test results. Inline Process Quality Control: Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor production processes (blending, in line, hardening, etc) to ensure product consistency and quality. Immediate Corrections: Identify any deviations during production and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly. Sampling and Testing: Regularly sample products at various stages of production for quality assurance. Finished Goods (FG) Quality Assurance: FG Inspection: Conduct final product inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards. Packaging Compliance: Verify that products are packaged according to standards, maintaining hygiene and shelf-life requirements. Final Testing: Perform shelf-life and storage condition tests to ensure product safety and quality. Compliance and Food Safety: Ensure that all processes adhere to food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO, etc) and internal policies. Conduct regular audits to ensure the manufacturing process meets regulatory requirements. Customer Complaint Handling: Address customer complaints or claims related to product quality. Track, analyze, and resolve quality issues from customer feedback. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports. Ensure all quality-related data is accurately recorded and easily accessible for audits. Support in developing internal SOPs. Training & Team Collaboration: Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. Train and guide staff on quality control procedures and product specifications. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related fields. Experience- 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in FMCG or dairy/ice cream manufacturing.
