Position Summary : As an Area Sales Manager at Moneymela Fintech Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within a designated region, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with clients in the banking and insurance sectors. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in both industries, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Key Responsibilities : Sales Strategy Development & Execution : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and market penetration in the banking and insurance sectors. Team Management : Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance reviews to ensure targets are met. Client Acquisition & Relationship Building : Identify, target, and acquire new clients while nurturing and strengthening relationships with existing clients in the banking and insurance industries. Sales Targets & Performance Monitoring : Drive and monitor individual and team performance against sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement of goals. Market Analysis & Insights : Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry shifts and capitalize on new opportunities. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure the effective delivery of products and services to clients. Sales Reporting & Forecasting : Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and potential areas for improvement to senior management. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence : Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards within the banking and insurance sectors. Key Requirements : Experience : Minimum 5 years of proven experience in sales within the banking and insurance industries, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets. Prior experience in managing a sales team is highly preferred. Skills : In-depth knowledge of banking products and insurance services, including their sales processes and customer needs. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Education : Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. An MBA is a plus. Technology : Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools. Location : This role requires travel within the assigned area.
