Role: Windows Server Admin Location: Hyderabad Experience Range: 4 to 8 years Job Description: Desired Competencies: Job responsibilities include - · Analyze, design, and implement the new feature requests into cloud environment. · Provides solutions for a wide range of complex problems. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions, under limited direction. Debugging and troubleshooting internal customer issues to provide solutions. · Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various projects and operational needs. · Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures meeting the standards. Create relevant documentation such as SOPs, design documents, training materials, best practices etc. · Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks. · Identify & recommend approaches for resource optimization and cost reduction. · Design, install, configure, administer & operate, maintain the virtualization environment in an enterprise running Microsoft Hyper-V 2016 & 2019 running on server hardware such as Dell, HPE, HPE Synergy · Operate, administer & manage Microsoft Fail-Over Clusters · Upgrade / Migrate Hyper-V components as per the requirement. · Configure SAN/NAS storages, securing the servers as per the requirement. · Performance tuning, vulnerability management, tasks automation using scripting such as PowerShell & Python. · Proactively monitor & troubleshoot & resolve issues and provide support to users. · Lifecycle management of the components deployed in the environment. · Collaborate within and across work groups, mentor junior members in the team and provide guidance as per the requirement. As the individual needs to directly work with customers, should have good communication skills and possess excellent technical & troubleshooting skills and process knowledge such as ITIL, should be flexible to work in 24x7 operations (working in shifts, on-call support etc.). Knowledge of Citrix would be an added advantage and if the candidate does not already have this skill, should be open to learning and supporting Citrix.
