Role: Manager – Business Intelligence Role Definition: The Manager – Business Intelligence is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of information systems that support business decision-making. The role focuses on data accuracy, reporting efficiency, system integration, and strategic insights to drive business performance Deliverables: Design & implement MIS strategies to optimize data management and reporting. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all business functions. Develop real-time dashboards and analytics tools for performance tracking. Collaborate with IT, finance, sales, and operations teams to streamline reporting mechanisms. Drive automation and digitization of business intelligence processes. Responsibilities: Strategic MIS Management: Develop and execute an MIS roadmap aligned with business goals. Standardize data collection, storage, and reporting methodologies across departments. Establish governance frameworks for data integrity and security compliance. Conduct periodic reviews to enhance system efficiency and user experience. Provide strategic insights based on data trends to support business growth. Data Management & Reporting: Develop and maintain structured data repositories to facilitate quick and accurate reporting. Automate data extraction, processing, and visualization to reduce manual effort. Create dynamic dashboards that provide key business intelligence in real time. Conduct monthly reviews of MIS reports to ensure alignment with company KPIs. Ensure MIS reports are actionable and support leadership decision-making. Technology & System Integration: Lead integration of MIS with existing ERP, CRM, and financial systems. Oversee the implementation of advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and data warehousing solutions. Ensure seamless communication between different business software platforms. Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance reporting capabilities. Compliance & Risk Management: Establish protocols for data security, backup, and recovery. Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with data governance policies. Develop and implement SOPs for secure data handling and user access management. Success Metrics: Data Accuracy: Ensuring 100% accuracy in MIS reports and dashboards. Efficiency Gains: Reduction in manual reporting efforts and turnaround time. Security Compliance: Zero critical data breaches or non-compliance incidents. Impact of Insights on business KPI s such as revenue growth, efficiency, or customer retention Stakeholder Feedback Score on usefulness, accuracy, and clarity of reports Number of Data-Driven Decisions influenced per quarter Role Requirements: Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in MIS, business intelligence, or data analytics, preferably in healthcare, finance, or enterprise systems. Skills: Strong expertise in data visualization, automation, predictive analytics, system integration, and process optimization. Knowledge: Deep understanding of database management, reporting frameworks, regulatory compliance, and business intelligence best practices. Technology & Analytics: Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau (for data analytics), ERP systems, and advanced Excel for data modeling.
