Job Description We are seeking a Business Manager - Design to manage and oversee the design operations for 12-15 projects every month. This role involves leading a team of 6-10 designers to ensure high-quality deliverables and productivity while maintaining exceptional customer relationships and experiences. You will play a key role in managing design discussions, overseeing the training of designers, and ensuring that the design output meets or exceeds customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Project Management : Oversee the end-to-end design process for multiple residential interior projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Team Management : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 6-10 interior designers to achieve their design goals and maintain productivity. Customer Experience & Relationship Management : Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their design requirements are met and their expectations are exceeded. Focus on customer satisfaction and design-related feedback. Design Discussions & Output : Organize and lead design discussions, ensuring that designs align with customer expectations and Livspace's standards. Manage the productivity of the design team to meet deadlines. Training & Development : Provide ongoing training to designers on technical aspects, new design trends, and tools to ensure continuous skill development. Performance Monitoring : Track and monitor the performance of the design team, ensuring high productivity and customer satisfaction, as measured by Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and other performance metrics. Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and project management, to ensure smooth execution of all design projects. Expertise and Qualifications Education : Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch), Interior Design (BID), or a related field. A Master's degree or specialization in Construction Planning Management, MBA, or Design Management is a plus. Experience : Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Interior Designer or Project Manager in the residential interior design space. Project Leadership : Proven experience in leading and delivering at least 10 residential or interior projects end-to-end (from concept to execution). Skills : Strong design and technical knowledge in residential interiors. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage a diverse team and foster a collaborative working environment. Expertise in project management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
