Job Description

Location: Hyderabad 3-5 years in SaaS sales (Education sales background preferred) SpaceBasic is Asia’s largest AI-powered University Campus and Student Housing Automation Platform, transforming traditional operations in educational institutions and student communities. We are on a mission to enhance efficiency and improve student experiences through cutting-edge technology. We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and results-driven Business Development Officer in Hyderabad, TG to drive sales, engage directly with educational institutions, and help them transform student housing and campus operations. This role requires on-the-ground relationship-building (on-site visits), strategic sales execution, and a strong understanding of the education sector; engaging directly with universities and student housing communities to showcase and implement our platform. Responsibilities: Field Sales & On-Site Engagement: Conduct frequent on-site visits to educational institutions to drive product adoption and close deals. Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets Identify and prioritise target accounts, and develop relationships with key decision makers and influencers Conduct research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competition Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential customers Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer needs Negotiate and close deals, and manage ongoing relationships with customers to maximise customer satisfaction and retention Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to continually improve the effectiveness of sales efforts Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the EdTech field Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies, with a focus on driving revenue growth Experience in identifying and prioritising target accounts, developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers, and closing deals Strong understanding of sales tools and technologies, including CRM systems and sales automation platforms Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and contracts Strong analytical skills and experience in monitoring and analysing sales performance metrics to continually improve effectiveness Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact in the EdTech industry Benefits: Competitive salary and equity Performance bonus Open vacation policy Commuter benefits Collaborative and dynamic work environment If you are a driven sales professional looking to make an impact in the EdTech SaaS space, we’d love to hear from you!
