OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB To manage finished goods dispatch for a unit. The key element of the job is timely, effective, efficient and accurate flow of goods and information resulting in customers (internal /external) satisfaction. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for scheduling of dispatches of the finished goods. Verification of quality and quantity of finished goods against specified norms/ standards. Inventory management (Stocktaking, documentation, disbursement, reorder etc.). Monitor storage, finished goods handling and production losses. Dispatch of finished goods and related documentation. Dealing with Excise department, Transporters, Bonds and internal/external customers. Monthly reporting to HO Finance. KEY INTERFACE INTERNAL Production Team Finance Team Supply Chain Team IT Team Sales Team EXTERNAL Govt. Agencies – Excise, etc. Warehouse Service Provider for day-to-day operations Transporter – Timely and safe delivery of goods JOB REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate/Post Graduate. Preferably Engineer or MBA. EXPERIENCE: 4+ years of relevant experience in logistics activities of a comparable industrial enterprise. Well versed with Excel and Power point. Basic knowledge about warehousing and transportation. Computer literate – conversant with MS Office and related tools – preferably fluent with Excel (spreadsheets).
