We are Australia's fastest growing IT Company serving over 1500+ Postcodes with a network of over 100+ Techs.JOB DESCRIPTION:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and Australian accounting standards and tax compliance. The ideal candidate will support our Australian operations by managing day-to-day financial transactions, sending quotes and invoices, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES DESCRIPTION:Perform daily bookkeeping tasks using platforms like XERO.Prepare and lodge BAS (Business Activity Statements), IAS, and GST reports.Assist in year-end financials and tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts.Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial statementsMaintain general ledger and assist with month-end and year-end closingEnsure compliance with ATO regulations and Australian tax lawsLiaise with Australian clients, accountants, or tax agents as requiredGenerate management reports and cash flow statements for Australian entitiesSupport payroll processing and superannuation calculationsKeep up to date with changes in Australian tax rules and accounting standardsSending Quotes and Invoices to customers.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxationProficiency in Xero.Expert Knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, PAYG, and ATO complianceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Immediate Starters Only.WHAT WE OFFER:Competitive salary.Permanent Work from Home.Exposure to international accounting practices.Opportunity to work with an experienced and growing Australian-based teamSupportive work environment with learning and development opportunitiesOpportunity to work onsite at our Melbourne Office after minimum 1 year of working in India.
