We are seeking an experienced Okta Expert to lead our identity and access management strategy, ensuring secure, seamless access to business-critical applications. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our Okta SSO environment, integrating with systems like Greenhouse, BambooHR, Microsoft 365, and utilizing integration tools such as Workato, Boomi, and iPaaS for automation and system integrations. This role is critical for securing employee identity, automating onboarding/offboarding, and supporting compliance initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Okta Administration & StrategyOwn the full lifecycle management of Okta, including provisioning, authentication, authorization, and de-provisioning.Configure and manage SSO integrations across core tools (Microsoft 365, Greenhouse, BambooHR, Zoom, Slack, etc.).Create and maintain custom Okta workflows using Okta Workflows, APIs, and integration tools like Workato, Boomi, and iPaaS.Automation & Lifecycle ManagementAutomate user onboarding and offboarding workflows using BambooHR as the source of truth and integration tools like Workato to sync with Okta.Ensure seamless provisioning of accounts and entitlements via Okta Lifecycle Management and Workato, Boomi, or iPaaS automation.Maintain and optimize SCIM integrations and Just-in-Time (JIT) provisioning where applicable.Integration & Workflow AutomationUse Workato, Boomi, and iPaaS to automate workflows between Okta, HRIS (BambooHR), ATS (Greenhouse), Microsoft 365, and other SaaS applications.Design, implement, and optimize integration recipes in Workato and Boomi for seamless identity and access management.Develop and maintain APIs and connectors between Okta and various cloud-based applications to streamline processes.Security & ComplianceImplement MFA, adaptive authentication, and secure access policies across integrated platforms.Work with the Security & Compliance team to meet SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR requirements.Monitor audit logs and identity events; respond to suspicious activity and conduct root cause analysis.Collaboration & SupportPartner with HR, IT, and department leads to streamline identity governance processes.Provide Tier 2/3 support for Okta-related issues and integrations with Workato, Boomi, and iPaaS.Develop clear documentation and runbooks for IAM procedures and employee education.Required Qualifications:5-8 years of hands-on experience with Okta administration, including lifecycle management and advanced workflows.Strong understanding of identity governance, SSO, SCIM, MFA, and SAML/OAuth/OpenID.Experience integrating HRIS platforms like BambooHR and ATS like Greenhouse with Okta.Proficiency in using Workato, Boomi, and iPaaS for automation, API integrations, and workflow management.Experience with Microsoft 365 Identity & Azure AD integrations.Proficiency in scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and use of Okta APIs, Okta Workflows, and integration tools.Solid understanding of IAM best practices, security policies, and compliance frameworks.Preferred Skills:Okta Certified Professional / Administrator / Consultant certification.Experience with Workato recipes and Boomi integration workflows for automating identity management and access control.Familiarity with tools like Zoom, Slack, Atlassian, and other SaaS applications.Experience in automation-first IT environments.Knowledge of BambooHR Webhooks, Greenhouse API, or workflow integrations.
