About QCI Quality Council of India (QCI) is the apex Quality body in the country, in partnership with the Indian industry. It is an independent autonomous organization created by the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce & Industry. QCI leads a nationwide quality movement in India by involving all stakeholders, with emphasis on adherence to quality standards in products, systems, and services for promoting and protecting national interest and health and safety of its’ citizens. QCI plays a pivotal role in propagating, adopting, and adherence to quality standards in spheres like education, healthcare, environment, governance, social sectors, infrastructure, and such other areas of organized activities that have a significant bearing in improving the quality of life of the citizens and economic development of the Nation.For more details, please refer visit: NABH National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) is a constituent board of Quality Council of India, set up to establish and operate accreditation program for healthcare organizations. The board is structured to cater to much desired needs of the consumers and to set benchmarks for the progress of the healthcare industry. The board, while being supported by all stakeholders including industry, consumers, government, has full functional autonomy in its operation.NABH has developed a strong Digital Health footprint. In September 2023, NABH launched the 1st NABH Digital Health Standards for Hospitals. NABH has received an overwhelming response and over 300 hospitals have applied for this certification across India. NABH has created a strong cadre of Digital Health assessors and already certified closely to 100 hospitals on these Digital Health standards.  NABH is just launching the Digital Health Standards for HIS/EMR products, and will also be testing and certifying HIS/EMR products against these standards. All these initiatives are providing a big impetus to Digital Health adoption in the country.  Position: NABH Research, Analytics, Insights & Research (DAIR) LeaderLocation: New DelhiTenure: 2 Years (contract basis) Reporting: CEO, NABH Minimum Qualification: A senior professional with 15+ years of experience in research and data analyticsAt least 8+ years of experience in healthcare data quality, national benchmarking, or accreditation systemsMaster’s degree in health informatics, public health, or related field (Ph.D. in a relevant field is desirable)Experience of leading Research and/or Analytics teamExpertise in data analytics, statistical analysis, and healthcare data utilization Desired Profile: Strong understanding of healthcare quality metrics, standards, and accreditation systems (NABH, JCI, ISQua, etc.)Proficiency in data analytics platforms such as SAS, R, SPSS, Tableau, and statistical software for analyzing large datasetsAbility to conduct qualitative and quantitative research and translate data into actionable insightsFamiliarity with healthcare regulations, national health policies, and quality improvement frameworksExperience working with government bodies, research institutes, and policymakers  About the Role:  The NABH DAIR Leader will serve as part of the senior-level leadership team at QCI -NABH & will report to CEO-NABH. The NABH DAIR Lead will spearhead all data, analytics, research and insights initiatives at NABH, ensuring that the vast amounts of data generated through the certification, accreditation, and empanelment processes are used to drive improvements in healthcare standards and support evidence-based decision-making. The lead will be responsible for translating data into national benchmarks and developing insights that help both hospitals and the government enhance healthcare outcomes.Key focus areas will be:Providing evidence-based recommendations to enhance decision-making and policy formulation.Analyzing trends, challenges, and opportunities in the healthcare and related sectors.Supporting innovation through data-driven solutions and forecasting. Responsibilities:Lead Research Initiatives: Oversee projects that leverage data from hospitals to generate actionable insights, influencing policy decisions, elevating healthcare standards, and enhancing patient outcomesDevelop Benchmarking Framework: Create and implement a NABH benchmarking framework using quality indicators submitted by accredited hospitals to assess performance and drive improvementData Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and gaps in healthcare delivery and accreditation compliance, providing a foundation for informed decision-making. Publish Research: Produce and disseminate research papers, reports, and policy briefs that effectively communicate key findings from NABH’s data initiatives to both internal and external stakeholdersPolicy Recommendation: Providing data-backed recommendations that enable better-informed decisions across NABH and its partner organisations (incl. government for healthcare policy)Build Cross-Functional Teams: Establish and lead a collaborative research team, ensuring that research endeavors align with NABH’s strategic objectives and visionMonitor Global Healthcare Trends: Stay informed about global healthcare research trends to position NABH as a leader in innovation and quality improvement in healthcare.Foster Partnerships: Serve as the primary liaison for NABH with academic institutions, research organizations, and policymakers, cultivating partnerships that promote further research and insights.Terms of Engagement: Salary - As per industry standardsApply: To apply for this role, please send your resume to ppid-hr@.
