Job Description

The Project Lead, EdTech will be responsible for end to end responsibility on projects related to EdTech, including, providing close support to our network of partner organizations, and supporting with the work of the EdTech Accelerator for furthering the cause of quality education for every child in India. The Project Lead, EdTech role reports to the Senior Project Lead, EdTech.Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:Lead and support the growing portfolio of EdTech at the organizationEnd-to-end project management for projects i.e. including, development of annual / quarterly goals, detailed budget planning, supporting operations, implementation and ensuring timely reportingIdentify innovative hypotheses based on current and future trends in EdTechLead capacity building of the growing portfolio of EdTech at the organizationLead the development of public goods with ecosystem partnersManagement of all internal and external reporting and reviews for the EdTech team - with the leadership, funders and Board members.Support the team with different workstreams of the EdTech AcceleratorFunctional Details:Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:Masters or equivalent degree required (background in business, economics, education, public policy preferred)At least 2-4 years for PM and 4 to 6 years of experience for SPM in project management / management consulting / grant management / building startupsStrong project management skills including an ability to be able to set priorities, plan timelines and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholdersExperience in growing and managing teamsStrong written, verbal communication skills and presentation skillsExperience in the education/ Edtech sector would be preferredEntrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitudeOperating style suited to working in a small-organization setting, where teamwork, collaboration and resourcefulness are highly valuedExcellent leadership skills, including ability to manage multiple projects at a timeBackground in research is preferred
