Job descriptionApricot Robotics builds intelligent cleaning robots that automate facility management for large spaces such as malls, airports, warehouses, and office complexes. Our first product is an industrial floor-cleaning scrubber dryer robot that is already deployed at high-traffic locations.We're looking for a Robotics Field Technician who will be responsible for supervising our robot on-site at client locations, ensuring smooth operations, handling basic mechanical assembly, and performing routine servicing and maintenance tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Supervision:Monitor and supervise robot operations during deployments.Act as the on-ground point of contact for the client.Troubleshoot minor issues in real time and escalate major problems to the engineering team.Mechanical Assembly & Servicing:Assist in the mechanical assembly of new robots when required.Perform preventive maintenance and service visits.Carry out minor repairs and part replacements as needed.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain logs of robot performance, uptime/downtime, and maintenance activities.Share regular updates with the internal team.Requirements1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or field service.Comfortable working independently at client sites.Basic understanding of robotics or automation systems is a plus.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel within Bangalore (and occasionally outside the city if required).
