The Company's publications are popular and command a large readership.Job Title: Podcast ProducerExperience: 2–3 yearsLocation: BengaluruEmployment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe’re seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Podcast Producer with 2–3 years of experience—ideally in a media organization—to join our team. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end production of engaging podcast episodes, from idea generation to post-production. A key part of your role will be identifying and booking compelling voices that align with the show's vision.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, produce, and publish podcast episodes in coordination with hosts, guests, writers, and audio teamsResearch, identify, and shortlist potential guests/interviewees who are relevant to the topic or series themeOutreach and coordination with guests—communicate, schedule, and prepare them for interviewsConduct pre-interviews and prep hosts with background research and suggested questionsEdit and mix audio using tools like Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or similarWrite episode scripts, show notes, and promotional contentEnsure episodes meet high editorial and production standardsWork cross-functionally with marketing and digital teams for promotion and audience growthManage and optimize content for YouTube, including thumbnails, metadata, and titlesTrack and analyse performance across platforms (Spotify, YouTube, etc.) using analytics and suggest improvements based on insights.Stay informed about trends in podcasting and the broader media landscapeRequirements2–3 years of experience in podcast production or audio storytelling, preferably in a media organizationStrong skills in research, guest coordination, and interview planningExperience with podcast editing tools (e.g., Adobe Audition, Audacity, Pro Tools)Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—comfortable interacting with guests, hosts, and collaborators at all levelsStrong coordination and project management abilities—able to manage timelines, bookings, and multiple moving partsStrong social skills—able to build rapport, represent the brand professionally, and ensure smooth guest experiencesAbility to manage multiple episodes and deadlines in parallelFamiliarity with podcast distribution platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, etc.)Preferred QualificationsDegree in journalism, media studies, communication, or related fieldExperience with remote recording tools like Zencastr, SquadCast, or Riverside.fmKnowledge of SEO, audience growth tactics, and social media promotionBonus: Video production/editing skills
