The first game will be Cricket based and launched in the UK and India before rapidly expanding across all major team sports globally.Job Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Technology Officer to join our fully remote team, based in India. As the CTO, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for shaping the technological direction of our sports mobile gaming platform. You will oversee the development, implementation, and scaling of our gaming products, ensuring they are cutting-edge, user-focused, and technically robust. This is a unique opportunity to build a tech stack from the ground up and lead a talented team in a fast-growing industry.Key Responsibilities:Define and execute the company’s technology strategy, aligning it with our business goals in the sports mobile gaming sector.Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance mobile gaming applications for iOS and Android platforms.Build and manage a remote tech team, including hiring top talent, mentoring developers, and fostering a collaborative culture.Oversee the selection of tools, frameworks, and technologies to create a future-proof tech stack optimized for gaming performance and user experience.Collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to deliver innovative features, seamless gameplay, and engaging user interfaces.Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of our gaming platform, including cloud infrastructure and backend systems.Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating emerging technologies (e.g., AR/VR, AI, blockchain) to enhance our games where applicable.Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver projects efficiently in a startup environment.Qualifications:Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior technical leadership role, ideally as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar, with a focus on mobile gaming.Strong expertise in mobile app development (iOS/Android), gaming engines: ideally Unity, and backend systems (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Java).Experience building and scaling cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) for high-traffic applications.Demonstrated success in leading remote or distributed teams, with excellent communication and organizational skills.Deep understanding of the gaming industry, including trends, monetization strategies (e.g., in-app purchases, ads), and player engagement tactics.Passion for sports and gaming is a big plus!What We Offer:40L-50L annual salary + generous equity opportunity in a high-growth company.A fully remote role with the flexibility to work from anywhere in India.28 days annual holiday (including public holidays).Opportunity to shape the future of a cutting-edge sports mobile gaming company.A collaborative and creative work environment with a focus on innovation and impact.Please do not apply for this role if you do not have experience building mobile games.
