In January 2023, funds advised by global private equity firm Permira acquired a majority stake in the business from Equistone, which remains invested as a minority shareholder.Key Responsibilities Understanding company’s business model, target screening, company profiles, evaluating market size/ TAM analysis, identifying growth drivers, analysing trends, SWOT analysis Understanding the industry, deep dive on the industry & market sizing, creating and updating investor presentations and roadshows, LP/ GP mapping, short and long target & investor profiles etc. Benchmarking companies on various financial and operating parameters to understand industry growth and profitability Analysing financial statements to check various trends Conducting quality check on projects Create customer profiles, management bios, new pipeline for prospective new opportunities Creating and managing custom reports and dashboards for senior managementKey Competencies Experience of 2-5 years in deal sourcing, industry decks, creating company profiles, target screening, and benchmarking Graduate or MBA or other Post-Graduate or Professional Degree from a reputed Institute Knowledge of strategic research, financial statements and deal sourcing related workstreams Knowledge of MS Office with strong skills in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint Ability to create a storyline and connect powerpoint slides Ability to take complete ownership and deliver the projects as per client requirements and timeline Proficiency in using databases including Pitchbook, Capital IQ/Pro, Factiva, MergerMarket etc.
