The company has end-to-end internal competencies in EPC and O&M services for its renewable projects.Job Summary:Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports for renewable energy data analytics by connecting to commonly used real time cloud data sources.Key Responsibilities:Dashboard Development:- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports focused on renewable energy metrics, including energy production, yield loss analysis, equipment analysis, downtime analysis, RE project management etc - Create custom visualizations and DAX measures to represent complex data in a user-friendly and actionable format. - Develop data models that effectively support renewable energy analytics use cases, including performance monitoring, energy trading insights, data science models, spend analytics etc - Enable real-time tracking and monitoring of energy generation, temperature, resource incidence, generation forecasts etcCollaboration:- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of Power BI with renewable energy data pipelines. - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, asset management, and trading teams, to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.Performance Optimization:- Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and scalability when handling large volumes of renewable energy data. - Implement visualization best practices to make complex energy data intuitive and actionable. - Document all Power BI solutions, including data sources, models, and report structures, to ensure maintainabilityQualifications and Skills:Essential:- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Data Analytics or a related field. - 3–5 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, with specific exposure to renewable energy data and analytics. - Strong proficiency in Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and DAX expressions. Experience with real time dashboarding in PowerBI using Direct Query - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data integration and analytics - Experience with various data sources such as One Drive, Sharepoint, Azure Blob storage, FTP, SQL Server, Databricks, Delta Tables etc - Excellent UI/UX and analytical skills and the ability to interpret energy data for decision-making
